Special Education Guidance

The Michigan Special Education One Pager is a new type of document produced by the Office of Special Education and Early Intervention Services (OSE-EIS).

The One Pager is a one page, one-sided document that focuses on a single special education topic. The One Pager is written in plain English and its purpose is to provide basic information about a single topic for a broad audience involved in Michigan special education.

Each Michigan Special Education One Pager:

  • Provides authoritative guidance from the OSE-EIS.
  • Is accompanied by supporting materials.
  • Is offered in multiple formats to meet a variety of training needs.

Timeline for Initials

Michigan Department of Education
Michigan's Integrated Improvement Initiative (MI3) and the Center for Educational Networking (CEN) are funded under IDEA mandated activities funds through the Michigan Department of Education, Office of Special Education and Early Intervention Services.
