Event Description:
Many school districts and other employers do not have a designated person or have not provided training for the current designated person in asbestos handling. It is a requirement of the EPA that a designated person receive “adequate” training to manage the asbestos program. This one-day workshop provides an excellent knowledge base of the AHERA law and a common sense approach to managing asbestos and the asbestos written plan.
