Event Description:

Camp Tuhsmeheta's Kid's Discovery Camp is open to campers ages 7 to 12. Go to Camp T and experience adventure, independence, and encouragement. There will be nature walks, swimming, cookouts, arts and crafts, and singing. Learn to make easy meals, and be part of a talent show.

Camp Tuhsmeheta is located on 297 acres of ecologically diverse woodlands near Greenville, MI. Situated on ancient sand dunes, the camp features mature oaks, beech/maple forest uplands, pine/fir forests, and sandy barrens. The camp also has lowlands that include both bog and fen systems, and a stream-fed lake for swimming, fishing, and boating. Hundreds of plant and animal species have been identified on the camp property. The ecosystem diversity provides blind and visually impaired campers with an opportunity to touch, smell, hear, taste, and learn about many elements of the natural world.
