Event Description:

Camp Tuhsmeheta's Prom is open to individuals ages 13 through high school graduates. The Prom will be a formal dinner and dancing. Campers decorate the hall and professional hairdressers prepare them for this special evening.

Camp Tuhsmeheta is located on 297 acres of ecologically diverse woodlands near Greenville, MI. Situated on ancient sand dunes, the camp features mature oaks, beech/maple forest uplands, pine/fir forests, and sandy barrens. The camp also has lowlands that include both bog and fen systems, and a stream-fed lake for swimming, fishing, and boating. Hundreds of plant and animal species have been identified on the camp property. The ecosystem diversity provides blind and visually impaired campers with an opportunity to touch, smell, hear, taste, and learn about many elements of the natural world.
