Pre-conference session on April 27:
STatewide Autism Resources and Training (START) is pleased to have Paul Wehman, Ph.D. as our Pre-conference keynote speaking on the topic area of Transition to Adulthood. Dr. Wehman will talk about “Vocational&Community
Integration for Youth with Autism.” Areas include: transition from school to adulthood and how to develop and implement an effective community-based life skills program.
Conference session on April 28:
The focus of the 2010 START Conference is “One Size Does Not Fit All.” Laura Schreibman, Ph.D. will share recent research on identifying variables that impact treatment response and how understanding these variables help us individualize treatment plans.
