The National Information Center for Children and Youth with Disabilities (NICHCY) is now operating a new dissemination center funded by the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP). The new center, called the National Dissemination Center for Children with Disabilities, will be serving as a central source of information on the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), No Child Left Behind (NCLB) as it relates to children with disabilities, and research-based information on effective educational practices. The new center will continue to offer the information and services established through NICHCY with an emphasis on improving results for children with disabilities and their families.
