Michigan Department of Education (MDE), Office of Special Education and Early Intervention Services (OSE-EIS) Director Receives Heritage Award

The National Association of State Directors of Special Education (NASDSE) recently honored Jacque Thompson, the Director of the Michigan Department of Education (MDE), Office of Special Education and Early Intervention Services (OSE-EIS), with the NASDSE Heritage Award. NASDSE presents the Heritage Award annually to an individual in recognition of his or her work on behalf of individuals with disabilities. The award honors significant service and contributions to NASDSE and to the field of special education.
