2011-12 NASDSE Professional Development Series Announced

The National Association of State Directors of Special Education (NASDSE) will hold a Professional Development Series in 2011-12 featuring information on high-interest topics from nationally recognized experts.
 
The Center for Educational Networking, a mandated activities project of the Michigan Department of Education, Office of Special Education and Early Intervention Services, has purchased the rights to bring this series to Michigan.
 
School personnel at the intermediate, local, and public school academy levels, as well as parents, and organizations, can view the series during the 2011-12 school year via satellite or streaming media at no cost.
 
Fall Conference Schedule:
 
We're Better Together: Recommendations for Improved Coordination Between Title I and the IDEA: Available Online Beginning Wednesday, October 26, 2011 After 1 p.m. ET
 
Section 504 Issues for Students with Disabilities: Case Law and Implications for Practice: Available Online Beginning Wednesday, October 26, 2011 After 1 p.m. ET
 
Spring Conference Schedule:
 
Providing Education Assessments Appropriate for Every Student: Is It Possible?: Available Online Beginning Friday, March 30, 2012 After 1 p.m. ET
 
It's 2012: Do You Know Where Your RTI Is?: Available Online Beginning Friday, March 30, 2012 After 1 p.m. ET
 
All access information will be provided to CEN by NASDSE approximately two weeks before each conference. To receive access to the conference series you must complete the online request form.
