Michigan’s Integrated Mathematics Initiative
Michigan’s Integrated Mathematics Initiative (Mi)2 helps school districts and educators create and sustain a collaborative system of support and professional development in mathematics education.
Project goals include:
- Converge and blend existing initiatives to promote a cohesive system of all mathematics resources.
- Create a network of facilitators and practitioners statewide who have the skills and resources to promote math learning for all students.
- Scale the Enhancing Mathematics Instruction for Students with Learning Difficulties: Algebraic Expressions and Equations (Grades 6-8) course across the state.
